YOUNGSTOWN A Youngstown woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon after she allegedly poured syrup and trash on a woman's car on the city's South Side.
Youngstown Police officers answering a report of a fight on Kenmore Avenue West found a red Chevy Cruze covered in syrup and various food items.
According to the police report, the victim told the officers the damaged car had recently been gifted to her by her grandmother. The victim stated she and Chaleice Underwood were formerly friends until Underwood allegedly cheated on a mutual friend's boyfriend. The victim was reportedly staying with Underwood's ex-boyfriend and informing him of the alleged infidelity.
The victim claims that when Underwood learned of these conversations, she came to Kenmore Avenue and began throwing syrup on the Chevy. She then allegedly proceeded to throw items from a nearby trash can onto the vehicle.
The victim provided a video of Underwood allegedly vandalizing the vehicle.
Underwood was arrested on a charge of criminal damaging and transported to the Mahoning County Jail.
