YOUNGSTOWN - Xavier Mortimer, a magician from Las Vegas and featured in a Cirque du Soleil production, is bringing his show to Youngstown for a one-time performance.

His show, Master of Magic, will be hosted at the DeYor Performing Arts Center on Friday, July 11 at 7:30 p.m. 

Tickets range from $40-$70 depending on seat position. 

Mortimer has over 1,500 performances credited to him and was voted Best Magic Show in Las Vegas by the Las Vegas Review-Journal four years in a row.

He is especially known for his appearance in the Cirque du Soleil production Michael Jackson ONE, his award winning magic show Dream Maker, and his televised performances on America's Got Talent and Penn & Teller: Fool Us. 

Mortimer began his career as a street performer in Southern France. He studied performance at La Rochelle in Paris and the Jacques Lecoq School in London before making his way to America.
