The Trumbull County Planning Commission has received a $750,000 grant for the Crain Drive sewer project in Weathersfield.
According to the release, the grant was awarded by the Ohio Department of Development to provide sanitary sewers to Anderson Morris Road, Bianco Avenue, Carl Street, Crain Drive, Forest Avenue, Gardenland Street, Oakwood Avenue, Saint Francis Avenue and Wabash Avenues.
Trumbull County will use $520,000 of the Residential Public Infrastructure Grant to cover the costs of mainline sewer construction. Another $200,000 will go toward low-and-moderate income household connections and the remaining money will go to adminstrative costs.
County commissioners have designated $350,000 in ARP money to the project and the 2025 budget included another $70,693.10 for the sewer project.
A start date for the project was not listed.
