Steel Valley Woofstock 8 being held at Packard Music Hall in August

The 8th edition of Steel Valley Woofstock will take place in August.

Woofstock 8 will be held at Packard Music Hall in Warren on Saturday, August 9, at 5 p.m.

This year's event will feature music from the Steel Valley All Stars and Fantastic Cat, an indie music supergroup.

A basket raffle featuring prizes of $100 or more in value is planned and includes a "Big Bonzai Basket" with $1,000 worth of dog toys, treats and care items.

Other auction items include autographed guitars from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Michael Anthony, Joe Walsh, Collective Soul and Josey Scott. There will also be signed movie posters and other items.

Tickets to Woofstock 8 are $60 and include dinner from Cockey BBQ, desert and nonalcoholic drinks. A cash bar is available as well.

Doors for the event open at 5 p.m. with music starting at 6:30 p.m.

All proceeds from the event go back to Steel Valley Spay and Neuter Clinic which has helped spay or neuter more than 600 pets in 2025 to help with the Valley's human crisis.
