YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - For the first time in four years, the Summer Festival of Arts returned to Youngstown State University's campus.

YSU's campus was full of the best local artists and makers with nearly 100 vendors.

Over the last four years, the festival was held at Wean Park but made the move back to YSU this summer. It's a move that many vendors and community members said they were excited for.

"OUR ARTISTS HAD INDICATED THAT THEY WANTED A LITTLE BIT MORE SHADE AND THAT PARK LIKE SETTING AND WE WANTED IT BACK ON CAMPUS," Shannon Tirone, Associate Vice President of University Relations, said. AND SO HERE WE ARE. LAST YEAR, I THINK WE HAD ABOUT 34 VENDORS AND THIS YEAR NEARLY 100, SO THE ARTISTS CAME BACK IN FULL FORCE BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO BE HERE AND WERE THRILLED TO HAVE THEM."

Along with all of the shopping, the festival has two stages with live entertainment and food trucks are set up. Its a one stop shop for the whole family to find something unique from artists in the Valley.

The Summer Festival of the Arts continues Sunday, July 13, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission and parking are free.
