Trumbull County Fair concludes Sunday with demolition derby, music, fireworks

The Trumbull County Fair concludes Sunday, July 13, with a full schedule of events at the fairgrounds.

Gate C opens at 7 a.m., with remaining gates opening at 10 a.m. for the final day of the 179th annual fair at 899 Everett Hull Road.

Morning activities included the Super Showmanship Competition at the SALE Barn and a service by Bazetta Christian Church on the Historical Stage. Exhibitor halls and vendor booths were open. A Cow Milking Contest was held at the Milking Parlor.

Musical performances are scheduled throughout the day, with Mr. Lucky Band on the Historical Stage and Karaoke on the Bicentennial Stage. Rides began operating in the morning.

Junior Fair events scheduled for the day included a Cloverbuds Stick Horse Costume Class, the Jr. Fair Cheese Auction in the Dairy Ring, followed by the Dress A Cow Contest. The Jr. Fair Equine Costume Contest took place in the Sawyer Ring.

An afternoon demolition derby is planned for the Grandstands. The Hay Day Band is set to perform on the Historical Stage.

Later in the day, the Michael Christopher Band will perform on the Bicentennial Stage.

The fair will conclude with a fireworks display after the gates close.
