Westside Bowl in Youngstown unveiled a new sculpture outside its location while giving back to the community.
Local sculptor Tony Armeni installed the last piece of a more than 100 foot sculpture that forms a fence and three circular bike racks.
To celebrate the new artwork, Westside Bowl held a bike drive to support Thrive Mahoning Valley, an organization working to connect people in the Valley with economic, social and educational opportunities.
Community members were asked to bring a new or gently used bike to donate for those in need of reliable transportation.
The bikes are distributed by Thrive Mahoning Valley through its Pedal Forward program which currently has a backlist of 50 requests for a bike.
