An investigation is underway after a vacant home went up in flames Sunday morning on Youngstown's north side.
Fire crews arrived around 3:00 AM to find flames shooting from the roof of a home on the 2200 block of Elm Street. Shortly after that, the fire quickly engulfed the rest of the home.
Fire crews determined it was vacant and began soaking the nearby homes with water to keep them from burning.
The home was completely destroyed by the flames and no one was injured.
An investigator will return to the site to work on determining a cause.
