COLUMBIANA, Oh. - The Crestview Local School District's new K-12 building is just over a year away from completion.
Construction on the $63 million facility is projected to be finished by October of 2026. Students in the district will be able to attend classes in the brand-new building by December of 2026, Superintendent Dan Hill told 21 News.
"The next phase that is kicking off is discussing the color scheme and interior," Hill said.
Though the interior of the school building has already been formally designed by the Chicago-based Holabird & Root design firm, Crestview board members will be discussing additional furnishings and educational aspects of classrooms and other spaces within the building in the coming weeks. In November, district officials will also be attending the Ed Spaces Interior tradeshow in Columbus. This will be the third year Crestview has been in attendance and will aid the district with inspiration for the interior educational features of the new building.
Updates on the construction and design visuals can be found on the district's website.
