A precautionary boil advisory has been issued in parts of the City of Hubbard for the next 48 hours.
According to Hubbard City Mayor Ben Kyle, the advisory is due to a major line repair, and impacted houses have been issued a door tag.
The impacted area includes North Main Street, North of Drummond Avenue, Truck World Boulevard, Commerce Drive, Flying J Drive, and Gala Avenue.
Residents are advised to boil water for at least one minute and let it cool before using, or use bottled water.
The Hubbard Water Department has no evidence that water is contaminated, and are only issuing the advisory out of precaution.
