Kennywood will be opening for Phantom Fall Fest on Friday, September 12 with a brand-new haunted house: "Detached."

According to a news release, Detached debuts next-level scares including the terrifying toy-store of the "Puppet Master", along with a trip through a world of deranged dolls and manic marionettes.

In addition, Phantom Fall Fest features four scare zones and six haunted houses, such as "mAlice in Wonderland Unleashed," "Shady Grove," "Dark Shadows" and "Fear Fest."

Most Kennywood rides and attractions like "The Steel Curtain," "Jack Rabbit," "Black Widow" and "Phantom's Revenge" will be open throughout the day and night, along with festival fall food and decorations.

Family-friendly attractions at Kennywood Junction and Kiddieland will be open every Saturday and Sunday until 6 p.m., when nearly 200 scare actors roam the park each night.

Kennywood General Manager Ricky Spicuzza says the park is taking terror to a whole new level in 2025 as they debut Detatched during Phantom Fall Fest.

"With the longest event run in Kennywood history and the debut of Detached, we're delivering next-level horror and thrills you won't find anywhere else in Pittsburgh," Spicuzza said.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the park from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Fridays, 12 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Saturdays and 12 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Sundays. A special bonus day will be held Thursday, October 23, from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m.
