Paul Czoka is scheduled for another parole hearing later this month. The 77-year-old was sentenced in 1992 to a term of 14 to 55 years in prison for two counts of pandering obscenity and rape involving minors. According to police, Czoka's victims were five and six-years-old at the time of the assault.

In a Monday letter, Trumbull County Prosecuting Attorney Dennis Watkins wrote that Czoka should not have any potential access to young children and should not be granted parole.

"Evidence as far back as 1971 establishes that Czoka is a lifetime sexual predator. If he serves his full sentence [until 2047], Czoka will be 99-years-old and provides society more years not worrying about what he is doing," Watkins wrote.

Czoka's last hearing was in 2021 and he has been repeatedly denied parole since his incarceration.
