McDonald's to host 'Digital Day' for Ronald McDonald House Charities August 8

595 South Street, WarrenMcDonald's is set to host a "Digital Day" that aims to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Northeast Ohio, according to a news release.

The digital fundraising day will take place on August 8. 

For one day, 20% of all digital sales made through the McDonald's app will be donated directly to RMHC of Northeast Ohio.

Additionally, each participating McDonald's restaurant has committed to a minimum donation of $250.

"We're proud to support RMHC and their mission to keep families close to their children during some of the hardest moments of their lives," said Jason Payne, local Owner/Operator and Round-Up for RMHC participant.

Payne continued," When our guests order through the McDonald's app on August 8, they're helping a family stay together when being together matters most."

RMHC aims to help ease the financial and emotional burden for families with seriously ill children who have needed an extended hospital stay or out-of-town treatments.

This effort is offered through housing, meals and other support through RMHC.

The McDonald's app is available in both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
