BOARDMAN On Monday, Juggerbot 3D played host to the community alongside Ursa Major to allow the public to tour its facility in Boardman.

Juggerbot 3D moved into the facility at the beginning of 2025.

Head of Marketing, Benjamin Toomey, told 21 News that the move was directly tied to work on a project for the U.S. Air Force.

Organizers opened up the facility, located at 8469 Southern Boulevard in Boardman, for a tour.

The event included conversations about the relationship between small businesses, academia and industry partners and a look at how local talent and technology are fueling national aerospace and defense programs.

Within the facility was a large-format 3D printer. According to Toomey, this is the first machine of its kind.

"It can use both thermoplastic and thermoset materials in it. Currently, we're working on the thermoplastic head for it," said Toomey.

Toomey told 21 News that this large-format 3D printer will be able to make parts 10 feet long by six feet wide and six feet tall.

"[This is] incredibly important for things that need to be done in one component, or one section," said Toomey.

One of the goals of Juggerbot 3D is to be a part of new innovation within the Valley.

"We want to make sure, you know, anyone who has to make tools or any parts on a big scale, they get their hands on one of our systems because we want to make sure that we work with people who are going to use them extensively and help people for the better," said Toomey.

Juggerbot 3D has also committed to moving into the former Vindicator building, located on West Front Street, as part of one of Ohio's innovation hubs.
