Tickets on sale this week for 'Christmas in the Air' at Stambaugh Auditorium

 YOUNGSTOWN Christmas is still 19 weeks away, but for some, it’s not too early to plan for the holiday season entertainment.

Tickets for "Christmas in the Air," a holiday production presented by the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley, will go on sale this week.

The performance is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, at The Concert Hall at Stambaugh Auditorium.

The show is a variety production featuring dancers, singers, and actors. The performance will also include appearances by Santa and other holiday characters. The storyline, told by two of Santa's elves, will feature a mix of classic and modern holiday songs.

A presale for tickets begins Thursday, Aug. 7, at 10 a.m. and ends at 10 p.m. The promo code for the presale is TINSELTOES.

Tickets will be available to the public beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 8. They can be purchased online.

Proceeds from the event will support programs run by the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley.
