WARREN A Warren man who pled guilty in June to sexual conduct with a teen has learned his fate Wednesday morning.
Twenty-three-year-old Kamare Evans was sentenced to three years in prison on a third-degree felony charge of sexual battery. Once released, he must serve 156 more days in jail followed by five years of probation.
He must also register as a tier 3 sex offender.
The charge stems from an incident at a home in Niles in February where Evans sexually assaulted the 13-year-old victim. Prosecutors said he gave the victim alcohol before the incident.
