Crash on I-76 halts traffic on Ohio Turnpike

A crash on I-76 in Mahoning County backed up traffic on the Ohio Turnpike tonight for miles.

The collision happened just after 6:00 p.m. near the Glacier Hills Service Plaza in New Springfield.

An Enterprise-rental moving truck slammed into the back of a semi-truck.

21 News crews witnessed first-responders at the scene detaching the two vehicles and towing the rental truck away.

It is unclear what led to the crash or if anyone was injured.
