Mercy Health Mobile Mammography Van to travel through Valley throughout September

YOUNGSTOWN Mercy Health's Mobile Mammography Van will be making several stops across the Mahoning Valley throughout the month of September.

The Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center (JACBCC) Mobile Mammography Unit uses the same high-quality technology and equipment to perform mammograms that can be found in the JACBCC itself.

It was the first mobile unit in eastern Ohio to offer 3D mammography, which allows for more thorough breast examination.

Screening mammograms are usually covered by most insurance carriers and do not require a physician order. Fianancial assistance for mobile screenings is also available.
