A new bike rental program is coming to Buhl Park in Hermitage. Through the program, visitors will be able to rent bikes in the park, including the option of a "step-thru style bike" to make the program user-friendly and accessible to riders of all abilities.
Following a 4:00 p.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 27, visitors will be able to access the new rental bikes at Buhl Park's newly installed bike shelter, located next to the pool house.
Buhl Park said in a Tuesday statement that the new program was "brought to life," funded and supported by the Strimbu Foundation, Primary Health Network, Representative Parke Wentling and the Buhl Regional Health Foundation.
Rental rates are five dollars to unlock and ride for the first 15 minutes and five dollars for each additional hour of biking.
