Three-vehicle crash snarls Belmont Avenue traffic in Liberty

 LIBERTY  A three-vehicle crash snarled traffic along part of Belmont Avenue and injured at least one person early Thursday.

Traffic was being redirected after the accident that occurred shortly before 7:30 a.m. near Belmont Park Cemetery, north of Trumbull Avenue.

Two cars and a crossover SUV were damaged in the crash.

Several rescue squads and fire engines were dispatched, along with Liberty Township Police.

A Trumbull County dispatcher tells 21 News no one else was injured in the crash, and no one was taken to the hospital.
