WARREN Another break-in has been reported at an Insight-owned facility in Warren.
The most recent incident was reported to police on Tuesday, August 26 when an employee told officers she thought security caught somebody inside the building.
Police spoke with that employee, who said she left for work shortly before 5:30 p.m. and passed by another employee, whose car was parked in the Medical Professional Building parking lot on East Market Street.
The employee found this to be suspicious, so she called her boss, who said there was no reason for the other employee to be there. The employee further told police that she called the other employee, who told her she went back with her boyfriend to pick up free sandwiches from the break room.
Police say the employee found a man in the building who claimed to be using the restroom and another security guard caught him on the second floor.
When the security guard asked why the man was there, police say he told the guard he worked there before leaving in a red vehicle.
According to the report, the security guard noticed two TVs missing from the weight room on the second floor. Police searched the building, but could not find the TVs.
This is the latest example of a break-in and theft from an Insight-owned building in Trumbull County. Last week, Insight Hospital & Medical Center Trumbull, as well as Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital were both broken into.
One of those break-ins resulted in the theft of over 1,200 OxyContin pills and another resulted in the theft of $400 worth of hand tools. It is unclear if any of these break-ins are connected.
