Early morning crash damages pickup truck in Sharon

SHARON A pickup truck had to be towed from a crash scene early Wednesday in Sharon.

Dispatchers were told that the truck crashed into construction equipment along South Water Avenue near East Connely Boulevard at around 1:30 a.m.

No serious injuries were reported, but the truck’s driver's side front fender was ripped off, with additional damage to the bumper and grill.

Sharon Police are investigating the accident.
