Columbiana County school hosts ribbon cutting to celebrate 30 years

COLUMBIANA CITY A Columbiana County school celebrated its 30th anniversary on Friday with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.

According to a news release outlining the event, the Columbiana County Area Chamber of Commerce was also in attendance at the event at 4 p.m. at Heartland Christian School.

The private Christian school is located at 28 Pittsburgh Street in Columbiana.

According to the school's "About" section on its website, the school began in 1996.

During the 2024-2025 school year, the school saw a total of 570 students enrolled in various programs, including 492 full-time students, 9 home-schooled students and 68 preschool students.

In its years of operation, Heartland Christian School has graduated over 500 students.
