Suspicious car fire in Boardman under investigation

Police are investigating after a car caught fire in a Boardman driveway overnight.

Firefighters responded to a home on Southern Boulevard near Indianola Road around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police brought in a K9 unit once they got the blaze under control and deemed the fire suspicious.

The investigation into how the fire started is ongoing.
