Valley Target stores open at midnight Oct. 3 when new Taylor Swift album drops

 BOARDMAN Two Target stores in the Mahoning Valley will hold special hours Oct. 3 for the release of the new Taylor Swift album, "The Life of a Showgirl."

The Boardman and Niles locations are included in a list of select stores offering the album's three Target-exclusive CDs at midnight, according to the company's website. The album will be available while supplies last, with a limit of four per customer.

It remains to be seen if the Boardman Target will make an exception to its recently enacted policy requiring customers under 18 to be accompanied by an adult after 8 p.m.

A manager at the store told 21 News no final decision has been made regarding an exception to the policy, but there will be meetings regarding the event later in the week, and a decision is expected to be made soon.

The change followed reports of unruly behavior by juveniles at the store.
