UPDATE: Officials have cancelled the alert.
According to an alert from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, a statewide endangered missing adult alert has been issued.
Information shared at 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday outlines that Marilyn Smith, 75, failed to return to her residence at 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday.
Law enforcement is concerned for her safety.
Smith, pictured above, is described as a black woman, standing at 5-feet-6-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.
Smith is also described as having grey hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown jacket, black pants and grey shoes. Additionally, she has a scar on her right hand.
According to the alert, Smith suffers from dementia and requires medication.
A vehicle described in the alert that could be involved is described as a red 2018 Nissan Versa with an Ohio license plate of KJS8154.
Anyone who may see Smith or the vehicle described is encouraged to call 911 or contact the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 937-225-4153.
