SHARON Waterfire Sharon is gearing up to host its final event of 2025 on Saturday, September 20, and is seeking volunteers to help make that event as successful as possible.

Waterfire Sharon is looking for volunteers to build the bonfires on the Shenango River, assist artist vendors with setup and monitor traffic in the area Saturday morning.

Festival organizers are also looking for four to six experienced kayakers who would like to participate in the evening festivities.

It takes more than 200 volunteers to conduct one Waterfire event. Volunteers perform a wide range of tasks including helping with the children's activity area, working as parking attendants and setting up and cleaning up tables and chairs in the food court.

Those interested in volunteering are asked to contact Adrianna Padilla at info@waterfiresharonpa.org or at 724-456-0996.

Waterfire is a free, family-friendly festival featuring activities for all ages, including an artisan market, live music, a children's area, and river entertainment that begins at dusk. The festivities kick off at 2 p.m. in downtown Sharon.

This year's theme is Harvest Moon, which will consist of a night of music, art, hay bales, fall flowers and gooey s'mores.
