Mahoning Public Health plans walk-in flu shot clinics throughout county

If you're planning to get a flu shot this year, Mahoning County Public Health (MCPH) is hosting a number of clinics throughout the county.

The organization currently has more than a dozen flu vaccine clinics scheduled between October and early November.

Below is a list of the schedule:

The CDC recommends everyone 6 months of age and older to get a flu shot during each flu season. People at higher risk for flu-related complications include children ages 6 months to 5 years, adults over 50, pregnant women, residents of nursing homes, and those with chronic medical conditions.

Every MCPH clinic is walk-in, meaning there's no appointment necessary.

The organization will bill your insurance. You should bring your driver's license, insurance card or Medicaid/Medicare card.
