Most of the block was eventually razed, and what was then the Ross Radio building became the Tyler History Center, home to the Mahoning Valley Historical Society.

2000: Mahoning County deputies and Boardman police raid a bachelor stag party for Anthony Biondillo, confiscating hundreds of dollars and a blackjack table. Biondillo is the son of Ernie Biondillo Jr., who was gunned down in 1996 during a mob war.
Speaking at Youngstown State University, the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson says Youngstown should be designated an economic empowerment zone because it makes good sense.

City police are looking for two men who reportedly fired a shot at Mahoning County Coroner's Investigator Armand Casanta after attempting to run his car off the road on Dearborn Street.

1950: Two Youngstown men are held in the death of David Vincent, 33, whose body was found in a downtown Youngstown alley after being involved in an argument with the two men that a Youngstown patrolman witnessed. Vincent died of a broken neck.

Miss Carolyn Higgins is named director of extra-medical services at the Mahoning Tuberculosis Sanatorium. She will help patients with their rehabilitation and economic issues.
