SHENANGO TWP., Mercer Co., Pa. - One person was taken to the hospital after a tractor-trailer veered off Interstate 80 in Mercer County early Friday.

According to the Shenango Township Fire Chief, an EMS crew was sent to the westbound lanes of the interstate, about two miles from the state line near a rest area.

First Responders found the tractor-trailer overturned on the side of the road.

A woman complaining of a minor leg injury was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The road remains open to traffic.
