Drive-thru flu vaccinations offered in Columbiana Co.

LISBON, Ohio - The Columbiana County Health District will be hosting its annual Drive-Thru Flu Vaccination Clinic Wednesday October 22, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Columbiana County Vaccination Complex (CCVC) located on the Columbiana County Fairgrounds (225 Lee Avenue, Lisbon, OH 44432).
The clinic will offer both high-dose flu vaccines for individuals 65 years and older, and regular dose vaccines (Flulaval or Fluzone). Anyone 18 years of age or older is eligible for a vaccination at the drive-thru clinic.
Most major insurance plans will be accepted by the clinic but uninsured individuals are also welcome — self-pay must be by cash or check.
Registration opens October 14 at 8:30 a.m. and closes October 21 at 3:30 p.m. The county encourages anyone interested call (234) 320–5936 to register; phone line hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Attendees must use the main entrance to the fairgrounds at 225 Lee Avenue. Signs will be posted, and staff will direct vehicles to the CCVC, located in the northwest corner of the fairgrounds.
