Jury Reaches Verdict in McKinney Case

After working all night and all day a jury reaches a verdict in the double murder case of Jermaine McKinney.

Jermaine McKinney was found guilty of murder in the deaths of Rebecca Cliburn and Wanda Rollyson. But what received a strained reaction in the courtroom was when the first count of murder for Rebecca Cliburn was read it was not guilty. The second count on her murder was guilty. So we believe McKinney is still eligible for the death penalty.

McKinney was found not guilty of kidnapping Wanda Rollyson, but guilty on all other counts of aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, kidnapping of Rebecca Cliburn and Guilty of setting both women's bodies on fire.

Jennifer Baligush is getting reaction in the courtroom and we will have more on this story on 21 News at 11.
