Police Search for Escaped Convict

Police are searching for an escaped convict at this hour.

Authorities say 34-year-old Billy Fitzmorris is armed and possibly wearing a CCA guard's uniform.  He was a patient at St. Elizabeth Hospital. 

He served time in a Toledo prison on burglary and robbery charges.  He is currently residing at the CCA facility on Hubbard Road. 

Hospital officials say that every precaution is being taken to ensure the safety of employees and patients.  The hospital is operating as normal.  People who have scheduled surgeries, lab work, and tests should keep their appointments. 

Employees should report to work as normal.  If you are coming to visit someone at St. Elizabeth Hospital, you might want to wait an hour or two for your own convenience.
