Authorities are investigating a fatal accident in Columbiana County.
It happened Saturday night on Middle Beaver Road in Elk Run Township. The Highway Patrol tells 21 News: 24-year-old David Bates lost control of his motorcycle and hit an embankment. The Lisbon man was thrown from his motorcycle and was hearing a helmet, but did not survive the crash.
