A Mercer County truck driver was killed Wednesday morning when his rig snagged some power lines near Punxsatawney, Pennsylvania.

David Haynie of Mercer was electrocuted and died at the scene in Young Township, Jefferson County.

Investigators say Haynie raised the bed of the truck to empty it and caught the power line.
