East Liverpool police continue to investigate an early morning shooting on the city's East End.

Shortly after 12:30 Saturday morning, police say someone firing a gun inside of a bar on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Robert Jackson was struck in the leg and taken to the hospital by family members.

Several witnesses say only one shot was fired on the dance floor. A handgun was recovered from the rear of the building along with one shell casing.

Officers arrested Douglas Austin of Columbus for disorderly conduct during the incident. Jackson's injuries are said to not be life threatening.
