A Niles man is going to prison for gunning down his own wife.

30-year-old Daniel Leet pleaded guilty to aggravated murder as his trial was about to get underway Wednesday morning.

Leet shot and killed 29-year-old Angela Leet in the driveway of the couple's Difford Drive home last year.

Leet was sentenced to life, but is eligible for parole in 28-years.
