A Boardman man is accused of animal cruelty after allegedly leaving four dogs and a rabbit unattended.
Timothy Hayes, 35, is charged with five counts of animal cruelty after a neighbor called police about the animals.
Three of the dogs were euthanized, with a Pomeranian as well as an Angora rabbit still alive.
Hayes is reportedly the pastor of Woodworth Church of the Brethren.
