Ohio State recruit, Jamel Turner, shot 2nd time since April

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) - Authorities don't believe there's a connection between shootings two months apart that wounded the same Ohio State football recruit.
Eighteen-year-old Jamel Turner was left in critical condition by a shooting early Saturday in Youngstown, which also killed a 17-year-old girl.
Police Capt. Rod Foley said Monday the case is apparently unrelated to Turner's wounding April 16 in a drive-by shooting.
He declined to discuss a possible motive for the latest shooting but said Turner and Tracy Banks, who was killed, apparently were intended victims of a shooter who fired from outside a house.
Police are trying to determine Turner's relationship with Banks.
Foley says police have identified a possible suspect. No charges have been filed.
