VXI looking to add hundreds of jobs to Youngstown call center
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio- A downtown Youngstown call center is looking to add hundreds of new jobs.
VXI Global, located in the Phar Mor building, is looking to fill 300 positions to make and receive calls.
The center already employs approximately 500 people, but is continuing to grow.
Chris Butcher of VXI said the company is looking for people who are interested in a career with the company.
"Somebody who's looking for not a job, but some opportunity to grow. Because we are a new company in the Youngstown area, we are staffing up and ramping up at a fast rate, so we need leaders within the Youngstown area," Butcher said.
Open interviews are being held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday.
Candidates should have good communication skills, sales experience and computer skills.
Some applicants may be hired on the spot.
Starting wage is $9 per hour.
