YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Mahoning County Prosecutor wants two defendants charged in the Oakhill corruption case to testify in a related matter being considered by the Ohio Supreme Court.

Prosecutor Paul Gains has subpoenaed former Cafaro Company president Anthony Cafaro and county auditor Mike Sciortino in a case filed against Gains by Cafaro's attorney.

The suit alleges Gains played an improper role in gaining criminal indictments against Cafaro, his company and several public officials who are accused of using their influence to stop the county from purchasing the Oakhill building for government office space.
