Woman dies after being run over by a garbage truck in Niles
NILES, Ohio - A homeless woman has died after a garbage truck ran her over outside of the Steak and Shake at the Eastwood Mall.

NILES, Ohio - A homeless woman has died after a garbage truck ran her over outside of the Steak and Shake at the Eastwood Mall.
Niles police spokesman Captain Ken Criswell says 66-year-old Wilma Hall died Saturday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center shortly after her legs were run over by the truck.
The driver from Ohio Valley Waste was there to empty the trash when he heard a woman screaming.
Criswell says Hall was walking, wearing dark clothing and must have stumbled.
The driver is cooperating with police.
