SHARON, Pennsylvania - Outrage at the justice system by a victim's family and members of the community as a Sharon man convicted of molesting a dozen young boys is given a sentence of two to seven years for his crimes.

Forty-seven-year-old James Kopan was escorted from the Mercer County Courthouse in handcuffs and is headed to state prison where he'll spend the next two to seven years of his life.

The former bowling alley owner is accused of molesting boys during overnight sleepovers at his former business.\

He originally faced 55 felony counts and 21 misdemeanor charges.

But James Kopan cut a deal months ago pleading to just five charges the most serious of which was corruption of minors.

Those who showed up to court to support the victims are outraged at the sentence and say they feel Kopan should spend more time behind bars because seven years is not justice.

They also don't understand why he's not ordered to register as a sexual predator.

Kopan could have gotten 31 years on the charges he pled to and much more had they taken the case to trial on the original charges and won.

But the district attorney said even the parents agreed to the plea deal months ago rather than put their young children through the ordeal of a trial.
