POLAND, Ohio - Visitors of the Poland Library now not only have the luxury of curling up with a good book this summer, but also the chance to purchase fresh produce from local farmers.

The Poland Library Farmers Market has everything from fruits and vegetables to jellies and jams and even home-made bakery and doggie treats.

From now through early fall, Valley residents can enjoy the farmers market located on the patio under the 224 bridge in Poland every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Earlier this year, village officials signed off on a permit allowing Town One Streetscapes to set up the farmers market which is next to the Poland Library.

The market supports local farmers and consumers who have become more health conscious and want fresh produce. What makes the items here even more appealing is that they are organic.

The Poland Farmers market will run every Saturday from now until October 6th.
