BOARDMAN, Ohio - A local car dealership has seen significant growth in recent months and is now looking to hire.

Newly located along the "Auto Mile" in Boardman, Preston BMW is one of 10 dealerships owned by the Preston Family, but the company that now employs more than 300 people began with just one.

"He always wanted to run his own business and start his own dealership," said Bobby Preston of his father. "Fortunately his father, my grandfather and another partner were able to put him in business."

With the addition of recent dealerships, Preston Auto Group has seen a spike in sales and is now looking to hire. The company held a job fair this week but still has openings available.

"Believe it or not, we actually like to find people who don't have an automotive sales background," Preston said. "A lot of people when they go in to buy a car feel uncomfortable, they feel like they are trying to be taken advantage of and that's what we're trying to do the exact opposite of."
