LOWELVILLE, Ohio - The Ohio EPA is investigating possible illegal dumping of hazardous waste at a Lowellville business.

EPA investigators searched SRI Incorporated on Arrel Road on Tuesday, confiscating computer hard drives, and other records.

According to an affidavit filed in Mahoning County Court, agents have reason to believe that trucks have been hauling oil and gas drilling waste to the site.

The affadavit says SRI does not have a permit to accept such wastes.

No charges have been filed in the investigation.
