NILES, Ohio - The little boy who was severely injured four years ago when he was hit by a foul ball at a Scrappers Game, threw out the first pitch Friday night.

Luke Holko is almost eight years old now and he has come a long way since that accident.
He even recently finished his third season of baseball.

This is also the third year the Scrappers have raised money for Luke through this mystery ball auction.

Luke's father Chad Holko said, " We're very blessed.  We're very thankful.  I can't even explain how much good has come out of a bad thing and it's amazing how the community still cares"

More than 100 major and minor league teams donated balls for bags that were sold for ten dollars a piece.
