STRUTHERS, Ohio - The Mahoning County grand jury will decide the next step in the case of a Struthers man accused of felonious assault and domestic violence against his wife.
In Struthers court on Monday, 26-year old Brian Myers waived his right to a preliminary hearing.
Police say that Myers threatened his wife at gunpoint, struck her several times with a rifle, and fired at least three shots inside their Parkway Street home.
When Myers left the home with the couples infant daughter an Amber Alert was issued.
He and the child were later found at his parents home in Boardman where he was arrested.
Myers is also charged with kidnapping and improper discharge of a firearm.
