YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - No matter how cold the temperature outside, or how much snow is on the ground, a firefighter has to be ready to go to work.
On Wednesday afternoon members of the Youngstown Fire Department responded to an occupied house fire in the 300 block of Mahoning Avenue.
The man living there got out okay, but firefighters had to rescue his dog.
Firefighters found a burning mattress in the home.
Investigators are looking for the cause of the fire.
