BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio - The Salvation Army in Mahoning County says collections are more than $30,000 behind donations at this time a year ago.

State Senator Joe Schiavoni donned a hat, gloves and bell today to help collect some cash.

Senator Schiavoni has been raising money for the charity every year outside the Shops at Boardman Park.
